Editor’s Note
Welcome to Issue 04.
There is something radical about paying attention to the seasons. Issue 04 sits with this idea of noticing.
We are reminded that seasons don’t look the same everywhere. They are shaped by place, by memory, by culture. For some, the change is dramatic. For others, it is almost imperceptible. But there is always movement, however subtle. Seasons, in their own way, ask us to notice.
This issue is an invitation to slow down just enough to feel those shifts. To pay attention to what is coming into season in your own life, and what is gently passing.
We asked contributors to think about seasons through the lens of home, garden, food and tradition. In this issue you will find photo essays, personal essays and poetry from South Africa, Colombia, Netherlands, Italy, Turkey, Mexico, Portugal, India, UK, and France.
Thank you for being here. Till next time.
